Our Commitment
Our commitment: Doherty Library is dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for academic study and collaboration. Protecting both our community and your personal property is an important part of that commitment.
Guidelines for Personal Belongings
To help ensure the safety of your items, please follow these guidelines:
- Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
According to the University of St. Thomas Police Department, thefts and burglaries can occur in a matter of seconds. - You are responsible for your belongings at all times.
The Library is not liable for lost or stolen items. - Unattended items may be removed.
Library staff reserve the right to remove personal belongings left unattended if the owner cannot be identified or the items are not claimed.
