Faculty are individuals appointed by the University to teach, conduct research, or provide academic instruction.
Faculty classification includes:
- Full-time and part-time (adjunct) faculty.
- Tenure-track and non-tenure-track employees of the University of St. Thomas.
- Faculty of St. Mary’s Seminary, Houston.
- Professional librarians and administrators.
