Join the Flynn Center for Irish Studies for a family movie night! The night starts at 6PM with a delicious pizza party. The showing of the movie will begin at 7PM in Jones Hall.
War of the Buttons (PG) is a 1994 comedy-drama adventure film directed by John Roberts. Set in County Cork, the story captures the escalating, humorous feud between two rival boys' gangs in Ireland, the Ballys (working class) and the Carricks (middle class), while offering a poignant, universally resonant look at the futility of war.
This event is open to the public, but we kindly ask that you RSVP to ensure ample seating and catering.
