About the Program
Beyond the Bottom Line
The Master of Science in Accounting program at the University of St. Thomas is designed to build on a student’s accounting and business knowledge and equip the student for success in the accounting profession. The program is also designed to qualify candidates to sit for the CPA exam. The curriculum incorporates both accounting theory and practice and prepares students for careers in public, forensic, corporate, nonprofit, and government accounting.
The program also has the advantage of small classes, an ideal location near downtown Houston, and high employment rates for graduates.
Pathways to Success
Flexible Learning for Ultimate Success
The MSA program offers a flexible path based on the student’s background. Three different options are available based on whether the student has an undergraduate degree in accounting, a business degree in a discipline other than accounting, or a non-business degree.
