Dr. John A. Palasota joined the University of St. Thomas full-time faculty in fall 2000 and is currently a tenured professor of chemistry. He is an active researcher in the areas of designed experiments and optimization strategies applied to the development, validation, and improvement of chemical, environmental, and biological technologies; developing analytical methods for high-performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography; applying statistical methods to analytical and quality assurance data; and STEM education. Dr. Palasota is the author or co-author of several publications and successful grant proposals and has made numerous presentations in the fields of analytical chemistry, experimental design, and optimization. He is a member of the American Chemical Society.
