The University of St. Thomas is honored to welcome the Archbishop Emeritus of Assisi, Domenico Sorrentino, for a special day of prayer and reflection as part of our St. Francis Celebration.
The visit will feature the public veneration of sacred relics of St. Carlo Acutis, St. Francis of Assisi, and St. Clare of Assisi.

10:00 a.m. — Unveiling of the sacred relics and opening of public veneration, Chapel of St. Basil
10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. — Public exposition of the sacred relics of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Clare of Assisi, and St. Carlo Acutis, presented in the Chapel of St. Basil for prayer and veneration
6:30 p.m. — Public lecture by Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino, Archbishop Emeritus of Assisi, Jones Hall. Bishop Italo Dell'Oro will offer a word of welcome, and Rev. Richard Hinkley will introduce Archbishop Sorrentino.
7:30 p.m. — Reception in the Doherty Library at the University of St. Thomas, following the lecture
