Eric A. Mabry, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Theology and Fellow of the Core
Dr. Eric A. Mabry is an associate professor of theology and fellow of the core here at the University of St. Thomas (Houston, TX). He has a decade worth of teaching experience and has designed or taught over two dozen different courses, delivered in multiple iterations and modalities. Prior to joining the faculty of St. Thomas, he was the assistant dean at St. Mary’s Seminary and University (Baltimore, MD), where he taught philosophy and systematic theology from 2020-2022. He served as the Department Chair of Systematic Theology at Christ the King Seminary (East Aurora, NY) from 2018-2020. He was the interim director for the Lonergan Research Institute in Toronto (Canada) from 2016-2017. He is currently working on a book project dedicated to the contemplation of the mysteries of Christ’s interior life. He has published articles in journals such as Heythrop, the Lonergan Review, and New Blackfriars. He has contributed academic essays to volumes published by Wipf & Stock and Marquette University Press.
