First Year Students
First year Texas students with a high school GPA of 3.4 or higher who have family income of $50,000 or less are eligible for our St. Thomas Promise program. Students must complete FAFSA form and be eligible for federal and state student aid.
The St. Thomas Promise is renewable for up to four years, provided family income remains in the same qualifying range. St. Thomas Promise awards will cover full tuition (12-18 credit hours per semester) and regular fees. It does not cover special course fees, parking fee, books, housing, meal plans, or summer courses.

New transfer students who are Texas residents with a transfer GPA of 3.5 or higher who have family income of $50,000 or less are eligible for our St. Thomas Promise program. Students must complete FAFSA form and be eligible for federal and state student aid.
