About the Office
Global Engagement for Our Students
The Office of International Services and Study Abroad (OISSA) facilitates UST’s global engagement by supporting international students and scholars and coordinating study abroad programs. OISSA advises students and scholars on F and J types of visas regarding requirements to maintain their immigration status, employment authorizations, and resources to help them achieve their educational, professional, and personal goals.
OISSA provides academically and culturally enriching study abroad programs to enhance UST students’ global knowledge, cultural competencies, and personal growth.
Who We Serve
Our International Campus
UST has the privilege to enroll more than 150 international students from more than 35 countries. UST students also have opportunities to participate in short-term (1-3 weeks) and long-term (1-2 semesters) study abroad programs in more than 17 countries every year. As a designated BridgeUSA program sponsor by the U.S. Department of State, we not only host international students, but also international scholars and professors to participate in academic and cultural exchange activities at UST.
Student Experience
Join Our Global Community
The Office of International Services and Study Abroad is at the center of UST’s global community. The Office promotes cultural exchange, international friendship, and global learning. We support a community of UST Global Ambassadors who engage all UST students in international events and experiences, such as the International Education Week celebration in November every year.
