The Rev. Charles J. T. Talar was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1979. He served in parish ministry in the diocese for three years, later as pastor of the Church of Our Saviour in the Hague. He was assigned to seminary work, initially at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, Maryland before coming to St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston. He also taught at Fordham University and at Alvernia College, Reading, Pennsylvania.
