Steven J Jensen completed his doctoral studies at the University of Notre Dame under the guidance of Ralph McInerny and is currently the director of the Center for Thomistic Studies at the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas. He studies and writes in the fields of bioethics, moral psychology, the philosophy of Thomas Aquinas, freedom and grace, human nature, and the natural law. The author of several books and numerous articles, he often presents at a variety of philosophical conferences.
He has taught for over 40 years on topics such as ethics, bioethics, the history of philosophy, and the human person. After serving as the treasurer of the American Catholic Philosophical Association for 10 years, he was awarded the Saint Catherine Siena Distinguished Service Award.
