About the Program

Welcome to UST Dance

The University of St. Thomas Dance Program seeks to educate the whole dancer—body, mind, and spirit—from the foundation of a Catholic Christian liberal arts education.

Our Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Dance Minor programs are ideal for students hoping to double major or study in other areas during their time at UST. Our Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (and soon-to-come certificate program) cater more to dance professionals or trainees who are actively training and performing full-time.

The UST advantage

Dance in Houston

Dance majors and minors are frequently given opportunities to perform and work in internship settings with local professional dance companies such as Ad Deum Dance Company, Houston Ballet and Houston MET Dance Center. Our faculty are able to connect students with companies in the area to make their dreams and goals in the field possible.
