Eric Frost teaches in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program. He has been a registered nurse since 2006 and a nursing faculty member since 2017. His nursing specialties include neonatal intensive care and inpatient psychiatry.

Within neonatal intensive care nursing, he spent many years in direct patient care and unit education roles for an academic children’s hospital. In those positions, he became a clinical resource person for NICU nurses providing therapeutic hypothermia and bedside brain monitoring. Later, he was employed at a freestanding psychiatric hospital, where he was a charge nurse and relief house supervisor.

He maintains specialty certifications in nursing education, neonatal intensive care, neonatal neuro-intensive care, and psychiatric-mental health nursing. His research interests include the development of cynicism and turnover intention among novice nurses.
